i had recieved this story and pics in an email. Not much info but i thought i would share.

The Ice Float Buck


An unidentified photographer took these pictures of a nice buck stranded on a floating on a chunk near Miles City Montana where the Tongue River flows into the Yellowstone River. The buck made it to shore. The photographer saw him jump to safety when the ice jammed close to shore.

at least he was smart enough to wait until he got to shore to jump off

yep and i would have been there at the bank, with a gun not a camera, thats areally nice buck. of course he didn't jump off until the shore, he didn't get big by being dumb

not sure i was thinking december maybe, looks to be a river but maybe whole thing wouldnt freeze across.
