Just watched that episode, I can't imagine what folks across the country must think. You can just fly into Fargo and within hours have multiple 140-180" class bucks milling around in front of you that evening like chickens. It was so unrealistic! But maybe thats how things are in that area "never been near Binford ".  Never in my life have I seen a sight like that around here, looked like a darn deer sanctuary or something.  Bet the out of state hunting land leasers are licking their chops...
Maybe we should ban baiting.....for outfitters anyways.

Yea its a little unrealistic over there. Believe me I hunt within miles of said operation, and it may as well be high fenced.

Nope, it just looked that way because the deer appeared unpressured.

I know a couple of landowners in that part of the state and from what I've gathered regarding hunting around there is that it's pretty much all hunting from a stand, nobody "pushes" or walks anything for bow, rifle, or ML hunting.  This has pretty much been the case up there for better than a decade.

..............THIS SPACE FOR RENT..............

However, I have to admit that it is fun

Only bowhunting is allowed there.  They are very protective of the deer up there.  They would cry if someone got a buck that crossed the border of their posters.

No doubt they have one heck of a feeding program, some of those does had bodies like our bucks! We don't push deer either, just hunt from stands and blinds but I've never seen a group of mature bucks come out in the wide open to eat feed in broad daylight 5 weeks into the season.
Whatever they're feeding them it works thats for sure!

Drive by there during November sometime and it is unreal. 150 class bucks out chasing does in the middle of the day. Right out in a wide open bean stubble field
Go big or go home

A few years back the school bus hit a deer by their land and they had a cow about it.  Very uncool

They were really pissed last year when a friend and me popped two nice bucks that wandered off of their "new" farm into a corn field that we could hunt. These guys are pretty protective as has been stated. This new piece of land they have control over is 400 acres of river bottom that was paid $1000/acre and hasn't been hunted in 6 years while they are waiting for the bucks to grow to outfitting potential.

You can't even dry by there land and look at the deer from the road.  That pisses em off too.
