Why does anybody care that Obama was born in the USA.  He is already elected so it does not matter what his status in.  The Dems won so lets just move on.  Let him run the government.

Ok, I about puked writing that but I have basically heard that same statement up and down the new stations.
The only reason these things are not brought out is because they would hurt him.  Plain and simple.

This would be the first time the US has gone without a President. I am assuming that he would be wiped from history as a sitting president and just labled as the Commander in fraud.

All we can do is vote Obama out of office and clean up his mess.

I want Trump to tell Obama, "Your fired" pronounced (Yaw Feyeadd).

I find it amazing how liberals want to just dismiss this as a conservative conspiracy theory at first glance.  They will have no part of believing something of this nature could actully happen.  I say open your eyes.  Why spend millions of dollars to keep something disclosed, when you could just show us your papers?  Unless of course, you're not registered.

first... the guy hasn't spent millions of dollars to keep his birth certificate from us.

second... his birth certificate is posted online its just not the "long form" or "original" birth certificate.

third... hawaii doesn't give out the long form birth certificate or copies of the original and it does not have a process for you to request a either.

finally... there was a birth announcement posted in the darn paper a few days after he was born.  i highly doubt his parents, the hospital and the newspaper were planning some conspiracy 50 years ago w/ the idea that he would need to falsify his birth just in case he decided to make a run at the presidency in 2008.

at this point, i am 99% certain all birthers would just pass off any evidence that he was actually born in Hawaii as fake anyway.

and if i was obama, i wouldn't make anymore of an effort to prove my birth to the birthers anyway because.... frankly this continued jibberish causes those who could make good arguments against obama's policies to lose credibility.  i am guessing he thinks that continuing this discussion does much more harm to the credibility of hte far right than it does to him.  birthers would never vote for him anyway.  and non birthers get completely turned off by the discussion.  for example...even if donald trump would've made a good candidate for president, he just alienated 95% of the american public by giving his opinion on this subject.

Hey Espringers,

Getting to be that time again, they eyes should be running soon!

I am not sure what to make of this, not my area of expertise and I don't know who or what to believe.

What I do know is that the Presidents works for the citizens.

If an employer (US Citizens) asks for its employee's (Obama's) ID, the employee (Obama) needs to show it.

I get your point about it birthers looking foolish to some, but I think it would be safe to say that a majority wants to see it.  Lefties want to see it to prove that he was born here and righties want to see to prove that he was not born here.

Show me the Certificate!!

Got Drama?

Nice Tom Tom, that is exactly right. True or not, show the damn thing. I regestered my youngest for kinder garden, i had to show his birth certificate. Should have seen the looks I got when I said we will just skip kinder garden and have him run for pres. You don't need one for that job. Hell, to be the President of the USA, might be the only job around where proving you are a US citizen is not a real requirement.

If this is the case, "dont give out the original or copies" then no one in Hawaii should be enlisted in the military....

You cannot enlist without a copy of your original birth certificate (no "certificate of live birth" accepted)...I know I recruited for 10 years for the military....

espringers, I agree with landshark on this one.  Seems there was a gent recently that was born around the time period of your "Chosen one" who in fact has a geniune birth certificate.  Now I must scratch my head and wonder why your messhiah "chosen one" can't (or won't) provide his.  And yes, he did spend over a million dollars to keep secret whatever he's keeping secret.  You guess what that is.  What do you  have hiding that you'd pay over a million to keep secret?  Just askin.

Not a Obama voter, but remember who he ran against, I would bet any amount the Clintons would have dug this up for a chance to get Bill back around those interns.

I fully agree that nobody tried to pretend he was a citizen of the United States in some grand master plan that someday he would become president.
However, would a mother in a shaky relationship with a foreigner put a birth announcement in a Hawaiian paper to try to make her foreign born son look like he was born on American soil so that he could receive all the benefits of being a U.S. citizen? Quite possibly.

You know what I think is pathetic about this issue?  It is the fact that there is still no mechanism in place to require a presidential candidate to prove their citizenship.  I do not care if it's Obama or the Easter Bunny.  If you want to be president of these United States, you should have to prove your citizenship.  If the federal government will do nothing to make it a requirement, then every freaking state in the union should make it a requirement to get on the ballot in their state!

Obviously we have learned nothing from this fiasco about the birth certificate.  If people want to pursue the issue with Obama's certificate... that's fine.  If others want to just accept he's the president and move on... that's fine too.  But for goodness sakes people, let's have a legal mandate that these people prove their citizenship if they want to be the president!

We only have ourselves to blame for this garbage.
