Wife and I are leaving on sunday for a week cruise on royal cruise to mexico and honduras.  I can't wait cruises, are very relaxing nothing to do but eat and drink and breakfast in bed if you want. Also the one we are going on is also a poker cruise so should be a chance to win my cruise expenses back anyways.  Not very expensive to do a cruise if you look around.

I dont know that why am asking you.  --- were not cruise people - our trips usually are land based in mx.   All we do is drink.   I am afraid to see the bar bill after this one. call em in what was your bar bill anyway?

If you don't mind saying, what are you guys paying for these cruises? Ballpark. "Not very expensive" and "reasonably priced" can mean a lot to different people.

Well Steve for my wife and i for a 7 day cruise an upgrade room with a balcony and rountrip airfare to houston is gonna be right at $2000 for both of us just to go.  As far as any expense once your on the ship that is up to you.  You can spend zero dollars or you can spend another 2000.  It just depends on how many shore excursions you want to do and how much you want to drink..  I guess to me this is a reasonable price for a 7 day vacation.  Hell it would cost you damn near a grand for a week of hotel rooms in Fargo. Just my .02

My Aunt is a travel agent.  She quoted us for April 1,200.00 for a five days cruise. And that was for both of us.

I just can't see wasting a weeks worth of vacation time sitting on a ship being herded around from place to place like livestock when I could be out away from the crowds hunting and fishing up here in God's country.
