I hunt doves with decoys. I have 4 sitters, that attach to the nearest fence lines, two pairs about 10-20' apart on a wire, I have a wind motion Mojo, which I stake near the water or in a bare spot in the field I am hunting. I also have a full motion Mojo, which gets set as high as I can get it, on a hill top close to the water hole (10-15 yards), or on a 10' pole 30 yards or so away from my hiding place in a tree row where the birds are feeding or resting.

If it's warm and dry, stock dams work great! Pop a couple decoys along the edge of the water, your back to the stock dam, alot of shells, and get ready for the fun!!

I use mojo doves every time out. I definitely think it helps to get some birds to swing in for a closer look that might not have without the decoy.

I like to place decoys on fences or exposed leafless tree limbs near where I'm sitting.  If I don't have either nearby, I carry a 6' stick in the bed of my truck with a few perches on it, and put it in the ground and add a decoy or two - instant display!
