Photo Description:
Thought I would share an interesting deer I hunted for a few years. I first picked up his 5pt sheds in “05” and realized had one shed from “04” which would’ve scored 100” then. So I’m guessing “04’ was his second set. Anyways the pic above is from “06” and the only way I could hunt this deer was archery due to different unit. I hunted him up until rifle season 2008 when a lucky rifle hunter ended up putting him in his truck. I have at least one shed if not both for every year from 04 through 07. This deer was nocturnal until December of every year once the cold really hit. Anyways in 08 he lost his G4 and actually started getting shorter brows but was still a very nice deer. I was lucky enough to go to the taxi and hold this rack after spending 4 seasons living and breathing this ghost. Just shows how tough these critters can be to hunt or very seldom see!!

Yeah I'll dig up the pics of the sheds and submit em.  Yea this deer would never score huge. His nickname was "9 Lives". The only way to hunt him was spot n stalk in the freezing cold and I knew his age and I think thats why he gave me such bad buck fever. hahah
