The interior of my garage is 22'X25' that I plan on heating it but not at a steady temp only heat up a dozen or so times a winter cutting up deer, maybe little projects, and im sure working on that damn snowblower. (have access to plenty of other out buildings and large heated shop at work) I know of guys who have used these in there ice houses but wondering if i guy should go this route or I was going to put a little 220 electrical ceiling mount heater in but i figure the little bit i use the garage in the winter a propane would be just fine.

price is right says heats up to a 1,000 sq ft.

It would defiatley take a while to heat up I would think, and your right they work good in fishy houses.

I would look into the ceiling hanger with the blower

If you are only using it once in a while you may want something with a blower to heat up quickly and portable:

World Marketing GFA100A Forced Air Propane Space Heater
However if you want something a little more efficient that you can run of and on I would suggest and inferred heater

I use one of these, it keeps my garage at 40-45* all winter, if I need it warmer for doing a project I turn it up and within a couple of hours its nice and toasty. Cost me about $25 a month to run.

I used a Nibco style last year which did the trick. Garage is connected to the house so I was hoping this ventless wall mount would burn a little cleaner (fumes), and wouldnt have to keep any thing away from burner, trip over, etc.. But I might have to look into the inferred heaters..

Absolutlely the way to go.  Set it at a steady temp and you will not regret it. All contents in the garage will absorb heat and help keep all warm

Had NW Electric in Minot put one in for me a couple years ago, about $550 installed.

When I want heat in the garage I use my Sunflower heater on the 20# propane.  The same one I have to heat the icefishing shelter.  I also have a Kerosene heater.   They also double up for emergency heat if there is a power outage.
