The Lindy's rattle. I own both cause the the Chubby's don't rattle like the Lindy's do. I used both today and was watching them on the camera and actions seems about the same.

If you compare the 2 side by side, you will notice some differences in shape.  I have found the Salmos to have a much better action that the lindys.  The lindys(as said above) have a rattle in them, but after watching them on camera, they do not wobble very much on the drop, and don't hang horizontal on the pause.  I wasn't impressed.  I will spend my money on salmos.

What is your favorite salmo chubby darter color?

You have a better eye than I do, I didn't see much difference in the action but maybe I was looking for more of a difference. I know I am yet to catch a fish on the lindy. I know the Chubbys work. I too will stick to buying chubbys until the lindy can prove to me they are worth the 5.99

Either gold/orange, or silver/blue for clear water.  Dirt water, glow red all the way.

Hope to give the Lindy darter a try soon.  Been using the chubby darter with some success.

I will rarely use anything but a #3 chubby darter for walleyes.  I have been experimenting with some of the new colors, but I fall back on Goldfinger and Red Glow.

You will want to use some kind of snap, or if your darter has a split ring you can tie direct to that. You will also want to use a small swivel about 18 up your line or you will get some pretty serious line twist if you do much aggressive jigging.
