I wonder what girl scout camp they were hunting near?

Wait till the girls at the Girl scout camp we are hunting find out there is a mountain lion in their camp!!!!!

I assume he is a non-resident, so he can't. If you look at the photos and read the stories, I would say he was at the girl scout camp at Pick City: http://barringer.bowhuntingroad.com/

Shoot ---- worry about the law later. I here all this stuff about intruders in ones houses and how prepared the fboers are, pull the trigger etc etc ---- but when an actual threat exists where are U. I would be more worried about shooting someone that is unarmed n gettin sued vs. shooting an animal that hunts out of season all year long. This animal is POACHER guys ---- come on -- -take em out.

This thread was brought to my attention so I thought I would clarify some things. I am the one who posted on the blog and me and my friend Ron, who had the cougar looking at him from 20 feet away, are residents of Minnesota so we could not shoot the cougar. We are headed home shortly as soon as we pick up the three trail cameras and see if we have any more pics of the cougar.

This cougar was in the Girl Scout camp near Pick City, and it did not seem to be afraid of humans at all which is particularly disturbing. We told the Game & Fish office in Riverdale about it but I doubt if they will do anything.

Thanks for visiting the bowhuntingroad website, I enjoy doing it and I hope all our readers enjoy reading about our experiences. I'll be bowhunting Wisconsin and probably Missouri too so feel free to follow along.

How far is this from the Tailrace? makes you wonder if you r being watched while fishing from shore @ night!!! Yikes!!

The camp is a few miles North and West of Pick City. If you look NW across the water out of the marina at Lake Sakakawea State Pack you can see one of its cabins if you know where to look but the tailrace is still within its range from the girl scout camp.
