A buck for Christmas

After arrowing a P & Y muley buck in 2007, Bismarck’s Greg Busch followed that up with another great mule deer.

On Christmas Day 2008, Greg harvested this 8x6 non-typical buck in the ND badlands. Greg missed this buck in September after what he called ‘a greedy mistake’. He continued to pursue this non-typical and on December 25^th got his opportunity. Greg watched this buck bed down then made a quick stalk over steep buttes and deep snow. He positioned himself along a fence line and as the buck came within range he connected with the killing shot.

The buck scored 172 14/8 non-typical! Congrats Greg!
