Sweet Briar Dam - Sunday, January 16, 2011

went out to sweet briar for the first time this evening. I got out there about 3. I used my gps to find a flat that I thought was about 12 feet. So I drilled a couple holes and set up the house. I put the vex down and it was actually 4 feet. I dropped a kastmaster down without bait just to see if my vex was playing tricks on me and I caught a northern in seriously 2 seconds. So I stayed at the 4 foot water level. I kept 8 perch and 3 pike for the pickle jar. I stayed until sunset hoping for some marble eyes but no such luck.
